EASY DIY DOOR TASSEL WITH AIR DRY CLAY BEADS

Supplies

  • Air Dry Clay
  • Yarn of choice- two colors
  • Twine or string
  • Small piece of tape
  • Wooden skewer
I BOUGHT ALL MY SUPPLIES HERE.

How To Make Your Beads

  1. Break your air dry clay into smaller pieces. I didn’t measure because I didn’t want the beads to all be exactly the same.
  2. Roll clay into a sphere using your hands against a hard surface.
  3. Poke a large hole thorough the center using the wooden skewer.
  4. Let clay dry for three or four days. On the package mine said to let dry for to to three days, but that wasn’t enough for these thick beads.
  5. Once completely dry you can paint and embellish the beads.

Just a few weeks to go or less until we meet Baby T.

NURSERY RENOVATION-SPRING 2020 ONE ROOM CHALLENGE: WEEK 3

hamper and kids coat rack
As I mentioned in Week 1, this reno was going to rely on DIYs and thrifted furniture as the bones behind the design. In Week 2 I showed you a little behind the scenes into how I design a space and loved all of your questions about where I find my thrifted and vintage pieces.

NURSERY RENOVATION-SPRING 2020 ONE ROOM CHALLENGE: WEEK 2

Thanks for following along and checking back on the nursery progress for week two!
Week Two of the One Rom Challenge was filled with …well, challenges.
We mostly focused on prepping and figuring out what exactly we could take onto our plates DIY-wise. It’s times like these where I’m very lucky that James is so good at home projects and building things. Sometimes my mind just doesn’t work that way. I enjoy the creative process and he puts the math behind it.
